INTERFAITH JAZZ THANKSGIVING

Interfaith Jazz Vesper of Thanksgiving 2017 - FINAL 3GATHERING TO SHARE

OUR PEACEFUL FAITH PRACTICES

OF GIVING THANKS

As fresh fear inflames our Civil Sensibilities, and as Muslims, Christians, Jews and others sort through Identity Issues in the glaring light of extremism – We are seizing the Cultural Opportunity of the Thanksgiving Holiday to Celebrate The Rich Diversity in Peaceful Traditions of Giving Thanks.

Philadelphia Broadcaster and Sacred Jazz Performing Artist Warren Cooper will lead a Sacred Jazz Ensemble (Aaron Graves – Piano; Andres Villamil – Bass; Khary Shaheed.- Drums; Jared Jackson – Reeds) and officiate the Interfaith Ceremony of Thanksgiving.  Ceremony features will include the Inspirational Presence of Marcy Francis and Jan Jeffries, along with the Interfaith Testimonies of the Musicians and those who wish to share a Personal Professions of Thankful Practice.

Those wishing to Register and share a “Personal Profession of Thankful Practice” will be requested to focus their 90 seconds of sharing time Through The Lens Of A Faith Traditional Personally and Peacefully Practiced –  Framing All Expressions To Answer The Question:

“HOW DO YOU PERSONALLY EXPRESS YOUR GRATITUDE (THANKFULNESS) IN THE PRACTICE OF YOUR FAITH TRADITION?”
